Cristina Volpi has always been passionate about Japan and Japanese culture, and after many trips to Asia (where Sake is very popular) decided to become a Sake Sommelier with the SSA. She is also a Sake Sommelier judge in the Milano Sake Challenge. Co-founder of Kitsune Trading Sagl in Mendrisio, Switzerland.
In 2023 she became SSA Sake Educator to run Sake Sommelier courses in Switzerland.
Kitsune Trading Sagl was incorporated in 2021 with the purpose of sharing Japanese culture through Sake in Switzerland and making a selection of fine Sake available in the country. The company also offers advice for clubs and restaurants, as well as organising Sake tasting for those who want to get closer to this mysterious and fascinating world.
