Joshua Kalinan, one of the first students to earn the coveted Master Sake Sommelier qualification, knows his sake! Having also been crowned the 2018 Sake Sommelier of the Year, Joshua has been sharing his love & passion for sake by providing private training to students based in Singapore.
Upon winning the Sake Sommelier of the Year competition, Joshua said: “The best is yet to come. That’s my favourite slogan. I’m not going to stop here … I’m going to do more to promote sake!”
Joshua’s qualifications & accolades include: Master Sake Sommelier, Sake Sommelier of the Year, International Kikisake-shi, WSET Level 3, Certified in Sake & Shochu with the JSSA, Certified Wine Expert, Certified Sommelier.
