Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Public Relations from Louisiana State University, and her global experiences—studying in Hawaii and The Netherlands, working at Disney World, and interning at JPMorgan Chase in London—have fuelled her love for cultural exchange and hospitality. With over 15 years in the alcohol beverage industry, Jessica rose through the ranks of a leading distributor—from sales lead to managing the On Premise Wine Division of Louisiana. She was honoured to have been chosen as an Ozeki brand ambassador, and deepened her sake knowledge through visits to sake breweries in California and Japan, as well as shochu distilleries in Japan. Jessica’s passion for Japanese beverages led her to earn WSET Level III Sake Certification with distinction, and a Certified Sake Sommelier and Sake Educator Certification through the Sake Sommelier Association. This passion inspired the founding of Sake Academy South, focused on sake education in the southern USA.
