After 15 years working with three-Michelin-starred chefs, Baptiste created his consulting company for restaurant professionals looking for a beverage universe in their image!
Baptiste also takes on the role of trainer for professionals and individuals eager to discover the exciting world of Japanese wines and Nihonshu.
In addition to his activities, Baptiste travels through the vineyards to find rare wines for the benefit of individuals wishing to build up a cellar.
Located in the heart of the Hermitage vineyard at Villa Caroube and owned by Cave de Tain, Terrarhona is a specialised training centre for professionals in the wine, spirits, and gastronomy industries. Founded by Guillaume Reynaud, the centre offers targeted programmes developed from his extensive experience in sales, trade marketing, and wine tourism.
Since 2012, Mr. Reynaud has trained sommeliers and students in a variety of subjects including sales techniques, spirits (whisky and rum), oenology, and marketing, in collaboration with business and hospitality schools.
Terrarhona’s team includes expert trainers, such as Certified SSA Saké Educator Baptiste Gauthier—a sommelier and wine consultant with a strong background in fine dining and a deep passion for Japanese culture and saké.
